Back to the Disney album!

Well, we finally took the first steps in planning our next big family adventure.
Which means, I REALLY need to get back to work on the Disney album!

Once I started to think outside the "Disney" theme, I managed to pop out a few pages.

Scrap Our Stash - Dots and Stripes

Good morning!  It's time to reveal my (late) layout for the Dots and Stripes challenge at Scrap Our Stash.

I worked with lots of older stash from K&Company for my page.  :)

I mixed quite a few different patterned papers and added some polka dot ribbons.

For an added twist to the challenge, we could add butterflies, birds or bees.

With this collection, I found a bird and a few butterflies.

I cannot wait for Spring!!

Dots, Stripes and Friends

Hi there!  It feels like it's been forever since I last  posted a page!

Now that Spring is here, the kids are busy with sports and outings and I barely have a minute to myself.

I did want to share a page I did for the DT Reveal at Scrap Our Stash. 

The challenge was to use dots and stripes...and for an added bonus, add some butterflies, birds or bees.

Here is my page:

I pulled out an older collection from K&Company.

For the stripes, I used patterned paper.

My dots were on the pretty ribbons.

And with this collection, I was able to add butterflies and a bird!

The bird was a surprise find!

Scrap Our Stash - Mixed Alphas and a Sketch

Good morning!  I'm here with my take on the new challenge at Scrap Our Stash

We were challenged to use Mixed Alphas for our titles on our projects.

And there is also a sketch to go with this challenge.

Here is the sketch:

And here is what I came up with:

I use some old alpha stickers for the first part of my title.

For the rest of the title, I used DIY Thickers.  I was able to verrryyy carefully add 2 different colors of glitter to my letters. 

I dug WAY deep into the stash for these papers from DCWV.  The accordian flowers are from K&Company..no idea how long they have been around, but so glad I finally used them. 

Check out what the SOS DT created with the sketch. 

There is lots of inspiration on using mixed alphas!

A little more Green

Hi there!  I'm sneaking in a quick page while I still have some daylight.

I found my brad set too!  The pot of gold, the rainbow and the smaller shamrock are all Big Brads.
